According to Paul, you are not where you are by accident. Your street is not random. Your workplace is not random. Your kids’ school gate is not random. Your gym, your coffee shop, your WhatsApp groups, your hobbies - none of it is random.
We have seen that works show people they are loved, and wonders show that it is God’s love breaking into their lives. But without words, most people will simply conclude, “There are still some nice people in the world,” or “What was weird” ;-) and move on.
When Jesus stood up in the synagogue that day, He wasn't just reading an ancient prophecy. He was declaring His mission statement. And embedded in those words is the complete strategy for how He would engage with lost people.
